Truss Rod Cover Might Need Some Adjustment to Fit
The truss rod cover is of good quality plastic. My experience was the opposite problem as another reviewer. The holes on this truss rod cover were slightly too far apart. However, this is a Chibson Les Paul, so, perhaps it would work fine on an authentic Les Paul?
The wide spacing of the holes was easily remedied by elongating the hole in the truss rod cover using a 1/16 drill bit like a file to remove material from the cover until the holes could be lined up.
The authentic cover costs twice as much, and I'm not sure if it would have fit any different.
