Dandy radio!

Sound quality better than expected. Everything works as advertised. Not tried solar charging as I do not have rechargeable batteries but when turning the crank I can feel the generator turning inside. Well pleased with this purchase. Would buy again.

New and Improved

Had one pretty much identical to this which I bought on Amazon and carried for two years. Recently when the head snapped off, I came to eBay where I ordered one as a replacement. I've had this new one now for several days and I'm quite impressed with what are definite improvements over the older version. For one thing this newer model is all metal. The entire upper portion on the other was plastic. Not a big deal in every day use except where the plastic hinge connected to the plastic cap is where it broke. Also the hinge itself on the newer model (where it snapped off on the original) is definitely heavier and stronger. And if all this isn't enough, this new and improved model was $9 less than Amazon, and the eBay seller shipped it for free. If you're looking for a good quality cigar snuffer/keeper, I don't think you'll find a better one anywhere.

Amazing quality! From Korea, not Chinese "imitation." Sides are thick, handle is strong and the two are well put together. Product far better than expected. No you cannot borrow mine, this one is not leaving the house!
