Interesting mic that opens up some new desktop workflows. I don't use any of the RODE software beyond keeping the firmware up to date. It's a nice mic to keep close to my keyboard and mouse, allowing my wired earphones to plug straight in for system audio. Seems to not work at all with my Kensington USB 3.2 dock. Have tried multiple cables.

I've never used a screen protector with this application method, but it's great! I actually prefer this method because it lets you use unlimited tries to apply perfectly. The matte protector does suffer from the "rainbow effect", but only in mostly-white screens.
