Funky quality
This is supposed to be a laboratory quality vessel. It rocks on it's base. Not a deal killer but I gotta say I'm not impressed.

Almost perfect simple bike tailight
1 of 2 found this helpful Rechargeable!! so much easier than replaceable batteries Easy to attach!! no clamps, no junk hanging on your ride when you don't need it Really bright!! not as much as the new MEGA blinkers that cost a lot and you only use if you're a commuter, this is good even with riders behind you, barely
The only downside is a result of an upside. The silicone strap that attaches it to the seatpost has to accommodate a range of diameters so if you have a 27.2 (like me) you need to make certain it's well seated. I actually found one on the road one time, blinking. And don't bother using one on a mountain bike on the road when you ride to a trailhead unless you remember to take it off before the dirt, it will be gone.
I've got two and have given two as gifts.

LG CU500
Bought it on the strength of the cNet ratings and a coupler other "cell phone" guru sites. Hah!
Coming from an old Nokia the screen(s)are great, the camera is great, buttons sound, all great. Reception is no better than the old phone. The micro SD card is a major problem, won't work, others have the same problem, LG and Cingular are no help whatsoever. Need it to store pictures and music. Music player is buggy and PC only. Of the few things I use, the calender on the old Nokia was a dream. Kept track of everything, birthdays (and running ages), anniversaries, notes etc. The LG is useless for me, maybe not for others. The alarm clock is better, but not by much. All the other stuff is just miniature video game stuff in hiding. Slow, expensive, don't use it.
It's good looking, seems to be extremely well made, uses alot of battery power to get things done, ESPECIALLY with the Bluetooth working. That takes a charging every day or day and a half.
I'll keep this until I can find the right Nokia model to buy, but if the various functions are what you need/want and you can get the card to run, this would be good one.
