Industry Standard - Does Not Disappoint
The Air-tite brand has been the industry standard since I've been collecting. I've tried a few other brands but always come back to Air-tite. Once the capsules are sealed, they are VERY hard to open again. This is good if you want to keep your coins from circulating air. On the other hand, if you like to swap things around regularly, you'll have a hard time doing this with the Air-tite capsules. Also, you inevitably damage the capsules if you try to open them more than a few times. So, if you're looking for a long-term solution that remains clear and easy to see your prized coin, then this is the product for you.

Reliable with a display-viewing drawback
1 of 1 found this helpful Having used this scale daily for a few months now, I can say it reliably gives accurate weight measurements. Here are a few pros and cons I've seen.
Pros: The ability to remove the plastic cover is a bonus. Not using it for food industry applications, I found the cover to be nothing but a nuisance. The platform is well-constructed from stainless steel and is large enough to accommodate small-to-medium boxes for shipment. The display is bright and clear "when viewed from the proper angle" (see below). The ability to weigh up to just over 15 lbs is also a big plus.
Cons: The viewing angle to adequately see the display is quite sharp. The photo is a decent representation of this - one needs to be standing over the unit and quite close to it looking almost straight down. If you're application is to have it at, say, chest level, you'll need to stand directly in front of the unit to read the display. If it's on a standard-height table, and you're sitting on a standard-height chair, you'll need to lean over and be no more than 1 foot away from the unit to see the display. Otherwise, you'll just see a faint blue display and no numbers.
