Asimov's writing never gets old. The Foundation story is still amazing.
The first sci-fi books I read, when I was a teenager were the Asimov Foundation Trilogy. I have, since, read those three several times as well as the sequel / prequels. Foundation's Edge is one of those books. I had a copy, must have given it away, and went looking for it, couldn't find it, so I bought another one on Ebay. Asimov was a brilliant writer with incredibly interesting ideas that he put forth in his writing. While the series seemed, to me, somewhat dated, it still held my interest. I viewed it a bit differently as an older adult, but I still was blown away by the story. The television version that appeared, recently, on Apple+ TV was well done, but updated and condensed a lot for a television audience. I found it appealing, but not as satisfying as the books.

Blades are ideal for the picture framer
We have used the Olfa knives and blades for years in our picture framing shop. Good quality, good value, lasts a long time.

Vintage Knopfler, not as polished as originals.
Being an avid Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits fan, I came rather late to the game though I have collected music since the 1960's when I was a teenager. After buying all of Markl's solo albums and the Dire Straits albums, I have slowly circled back to buy Mark's sound tracks and compilations. Invariably, there is a different version of the song I remember and it has a slightly different sound.
This CD is much in that vein: All the songs are familiar, but sung and played a little differently. The title pretty much says it all: One Take. They are sung and played much as he might do in concert. While some people may find the variation on the original of any song annoying, I welcome it, since Mark is a highly skilled and very inventive guitar picker. What prompted me to buy this one was when I created a Mark Knopfler radio station on Pandora and some of these cuts came up periodically.
