Works fine- if you can assemble it
I bought this product about 3 years ago at Container store and have loved it so much I bought another and sent one as a gift. I noticed it was much less expensive and now I know why. while the assembled product works fine- it was very hard to assemble. There are 4 tiny tiny screws on the bottom that did not exist on the original model. The original had a large wheel screw on top attached to the back brace, and you can easily loosen it and adjust the depth of the opening. The current version you have to guess how deep of an opening you need for the back brace and then hope that the two tiny screws stay in place and are even, while you tighten them. it was also much harder to insert the lightning cord. The metal is a much lighter weight tho so far does not seem flimsy. It is just a poor design change to save money/ i guess. No wonder it is no longer available. I could not tell from the Ebay photo that it was changed.
I was embarrassed to have sent this as a gift- my friend will have to get someone to help her assemble this.
