The only alternative to the standard white 4th generation available at the time, inside they're exactly the same nice sound and six to seven hours battery life

One of the easier ipods to refurbish nice and sturdy sound quality is as good as the 4th generation ipod similar battery life doesn't need a powerful charger if you restore it on the computer the small hard drive can be swapped for a higher capacity cf card without using any adaptors I've had one with a 64gb card the only thing is the small screen makes scrolling through all the music hard work on the eyes, doesn't attach to car radio via usb cable you need 5th and above classics for this
