Large enough to hold purse, etc.
This is a nice basket, but I had trouble fitting it onto three different walkers. It tipped forward too easily when I put a purse into it, which poses a danger for a person needing a walker in the first place. I ended up rigging it so that it sits on the inside of the walker on the lower cross bar. I'm still happy with it.
