Vintagey Plastic!
2 of 2 found this helpful This thing is great because it's hard to find tape players these days, though they're making a comeback. This player is just like the one I had as a kid (1970's) only made out of cheapish plastic. For the $$ it's not bad - it works anyway. And it has an internal mic as well as the external one that comes with it.

Better than the original!
The original door handle thing in my Mustang was made of much cheaper materials than this.
