It was the right part and works well.

maybe good for making pasta but very weak
I tried making sauerkraut by grinding cabbage in it. It was not strong enough for the job. It got jammed and I knew it would break if I forced it. I never intended to grind meat so I don't know about that but I am pretty sure it would work for making pasta. That is what I will use it for.
