Faith of Barack Obama
This book answered the question of why Mr.Obama stayed at Trinity United Church.It explains Black church and the dedication to justice that is a part of the black religious tradition.
It answers the question about his religious commitment.He is a Christian.
Beyond that the author does a good job of presenting how Obama's beliefs would impact his decisions as president.
It was a quick,but very intresting read:that was well worth my time.

The New Soul-Food Cookbook by Wilbert Jones
1 of 1 found this helpful Have tried several recipes.The Smothered Chicken was surprisingly good.The recipes limit the amount of salt used,but make up for it with great spice combinations.
Whenever i've prepared a dish my house has smelled wonderful,and the food tasted terrific.
It's nice to be able to eat great soul food and maintain a healthy lifestyle at the same time.
