..."all you need is just a little patience.."
When I began reading the instructions, I was a bit intimidated at first. So I watched others on YouTube, made sure I had the right equipment at my disposal, and went over the instructions thoroughly before attempting it on my Game Gear.
It took me a couple days, due to having to perform this repair on my spare time, but the Kit works as intended. My Game Gear is working just like brand new! My personal advice is to be patient, do not rush anything, and lay the capacitors down against the main board, so you can close the Game Gear properly when the repair is done. Also make sure none of the capacitors occupy the circular copper-like areas on the main board. When the system is closed up the back panel supports rests on those areas.
Good luck on your repair! You can do it also! Just have a lil patience!
