Fast moving and easy to learn.
This is an entertaining game that family from 3 generations enjoyed together one afternoon. Although a pleasant addition to our family reunion, there seems to be no strategy involved and relies overmuch on the luck of the draw. We’re sure to play it again and are happy to have it as part of our pastime opportunities.

Interested in our America? Read this magnificent book!
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a book for someone who reads for sheer pleasure and who can appreciate Least Heat-Moon's remarkable eloquence. I especially enjoyed reading excerpts aloud to my grandchildren. This coming summer, I hope to be able to see first-hand the places of which the author wrote. Whether your interest is eclectic American history or geography, you will appreciate having read this wonderful work and adding it to your personal library. Blue Highways was his first offering; River Horse his most contemplative. PrairyErth is (so far) his most compelling. You need a couple of dreary-weather days curled up in your recliner, a fire crackling in the grate, and a close-at-hand glass to fully appreciate the breadth of his thoughts and the clarity of his observations. Of particular note: Each chapter is prefaced with quotations from other authors. You do yourself a disservice if you choose not to read these also.

A compelling brief history written by a brave and decent man
This is a poignant firsthand account of the opening weeks of the second world war. It focuses on people and events while thankfully omitting gratuitous violence. The author wrote it I think for son. His granddaughter shared it with us. I’m so very happy she did.
