About
I Love to work with my hands. Rewiring trailers, add lights to trucks, or even wiring up the trucks so you can pull a trailer. Do house wiring also. Electric can be fun, for the finished result shines when you are through. Me & My Lady.

Lighweight yet not too bright
I work on big trucks a lot & I have been trying to find LED lights that are bright, yet not so bright that they blind you. These lights suit my needs. They are bright enough to put into the trucks, but not so bright that they hurt your eyes when they are on. On some of the trucks I work on, the dash lights no longer work. The trucks are old & it is hard to find parts for them. So instead of taking the dash apart & trying to find bad wires, or messing with corroded connections, I can install these lights onto the overhang above all the gauges. Most people wont mind seeing the light, as long as they can see all of the gauges.
If you try to use these during the day, they are not so good. You can barely tell they are on. Yet when it starts to get dark or during the night, these light up pretty good. I have a friend who works on trucks, he wanted on to keep in his glove box. With the alligator clips that come on the lights, he can open the hood & connect the light to his battery. They will help you while you figure out what is wrong. The bottom part of the light is made of aluminum, but the top part is plastic. So if you use the lights for working on your vehicle, make sure you don't lay the light on a hot motor or any other hot surface.
The downside to these lights? If you want to fasten the lights somewhere, you need to find so very small screws. With these lights & almost all LED's, you must make sure the wires are hooked up correctly for the lights to work. The red clip must be hooked to the hot side & the black clip to the negative/ground terminal. If you hook up the wires backwards, the lights wont work & you may believe that the light is bad.
I got mine for the kitchen. I want to mount several of these under the upper kitchen cabinets, I have a few adapters so I can plug them in & have better light while preparing different food items. I also have a truck that is used for work. So I want to figure out where to put a couple of these light in my truck. At night it is hard to find items in the truck, for the overhead light doesn't shine into the floorboard that well. If you have the time to work on projects, these lights can be used for many different applications

Jewelry Bags
The bags are nice, but the draw string is a little too thin. I like them be cause I can put my jewelry into individual bags & take them with me, when I go on a trip. I am tired of my jewelry getting banged up or misplaced, because of it just laying in my bag or suitcase. The bags are big enough for a decent sized necklace, yet small enough to put several bags into my zippered compartment of my travel bag or suitcase. Going to make my packing of my jewelry easier. I'm going to put different colored beads on different bags. That will allow me to identify what is in each bag, without opening up every one to find the one necklace that I want to wear. The bags are not stiff like many bags are, so I wont have to worry about my necklaces getting messed up. Will be great for giving jewelry to someone also.

I prefer this type of cutoff valves in certain situations. These work better in a wall, but the long handle ones work better in an open area. I can get the long handle ones almost anywhere, but I can't get these around here unless I special order them.
