Why pay more?

As far as I can tell, this product performs as well as others that cost much more. It easily changes from metric (grams) to English (ounces, pounds). The only limitation, but one I expected, is that it does not measure in tenths of a gram for very small, light items. That requires a difference device.

Too soon to tell

Since I bought this 4-year-old hard drive because it has a great reliability according to Backblaze, I will not know for several years if it has longevity as well as shorter term reliability. For now, it runs smoothly, but with a very slight ticking sound when it powers up. Would it have been better to buy a different brand of hard drive that is new? Only time will tell.
