Good replacement for old Omron BP785 if you have blue connector from old cuff
The replacement cuff for my older Omron BP785 (not BP785N) was seemingly no longer available through Omron or medical supply companies. I read reviews for info about whether this one would work, with some folks saying it was the wrong size. Someone said all they had to do was exchange the blue connector for the blue connector from the old cuff so I took a chance. Yep...that worked. The connector that comes on this cuff is too small to fit into the hole on the monitor, but I was able to disconnect it from the rubber those and exchange it for the blue connector from the hose of the old cuff. Fits fine and this cuff seems to work perfectly. I do agree with others that this Comfit cuff is a little harder to get on than my older gray Comfit cuff. It seems more curved and rigid than the old one. Yet I'm happy to be able to be using my better Omron unit instead my cheaper ReliOn BP unit that gives lots of error readings when my blood pressure is elevated.
