Will Last a Few Years Then It's Time to Replace
This is a replacement for the same Hayward Chlorinator that I've had for several years. After a number of years opening and closing the chlorinators becomes harder and harder. You can replace the o-ring in the cover which helps for a while. However the chlorine seems to do something to the plastic that the affects the threads on the canister or the lid and I've found the easiest solution is just to replace the feeder.

Great Replacement
This was a replacement for a Kitchen Aid Garbage Disposal that lasted about 15 years. It fit perfectly and is extremely quiet compared with the machine it replaced. Hopefully this one will be as durable as the last one.

Excellent Product
Have been using this product for the last few summers. Four capfuls into a 30,000 gallon pool once a week and the water has been crystal clear. Very pleased with it.
