Sonos vs Nakamichi
The first dissatisfier is that you cannot hook it up to your computer unless you buy another one of their products (m5 amplifier). The base is insufficient, so you have to buy their pricey subwoofer. You have to set up the Sonos with their app which I found insufficient. The sound is decent, but not what I expected. Beware of the sales job of those who are so happy to present their case. I was especially hooked by their video animations.
I bought at the same time the Nakamichi 5.1 system with 2 subwoofers and my whole family was blown away by the sound. It also includes several HDMI ports to connect a computer. For the price, sound, easy setup, and hook up with your receiver go with the Nakamichi setup. I have played the Sonos once and is now collecting dust.
I bought both systems refurbished. The Nakamichi was very well packaged as if new. The Sonos came wrapped in bubble plastic and I was lucky it did not come in damaged (it works now).
