Overall a really great product

I wanted something different from what everyone else seemed to be bolting on to their s10's. In my area I've never seen an s10 with this hood, and so the choice was easy. I like the clean somewhat old school look and the way it blends in without looking like it was an afterthought. The quality is actually pretty good for a fiber glass hood straight out of the box. Does it need a little work ? Yes, but overall nothing major. It bolted up nicely and lined up pretty well, not perfectly ( but I've had steel hoods that were MUCH worse) If I were to have a complaint (and it would be minor) it would be that the inserts for the secondary hood latch are different than the stock ones. (The stock bolts won't work) Also the pop up spring needs modifications in order to mount it to the bottom of the hood. Those two minor details (and the cost) keep me from giving it 5 stars (but just barely) The packaging was good as there was NO damage when it arrived ( a small miracle for a glass hood that was shipped all the way across the country) Although it wasn't the cheapest (cost not quality) hood out there I'm glad I made the choice and purchased this one.

You gotta get you some of these!!!

The quality of materials and workmanship is phenomenal!!! Other than the stock spring eye bushing removal, the installation is super easy with common hand tools. It's a simple design THAT WORKS!!!

BEAUTIFUL PIECE, excellent machine work ...

BEAUTIFUL PIECE, excellent machine work (obviously cnc) I especially like the radiused entry to aid in helping airflow into the carburetor . This part turned out to be the key for my Tri Power air cleaner project. Ended up having to fabricate my own spacers ( the ones from speedway will NOT work with this adapter) The carburetor end inside diameter is too small to fit a Rochester 2g and the outside diameter is too small to fit tightly into the inside of this spacer. Other than that it works.
