Garmin nuvi 205w Series gps unit New w/o box

New Product without box

I received this unit as advertised new without a box. It looked brand new and all the perrifials were there. However the unit did not work and the battery would not charge up. I gambled that it was only a defective battery so I bought a new battery and installed it following instructions on U-tube. The new battery charged up without a problem and the unit now performs excellently. I'm just disappointed that this unit was not tested before it was sold to me as new without a box and that I ended up with the added expense of having to buy a battery. Lucky for me I'm talented enough to have been able to install the battery myself.

Expensive

Good Product but to expensive.

Good Result

Disassembled Garmin Nuvi 205W. Removed defective never used battery. Installed new battery. Reassembled GPS Unit and charged new replacement battery. Tested all functions of unit and everything worked fine, no problems. I am very satisfied with the new replacement battery. Frank Odin
