Kuryakyn 4392 Premium Mini Board with Male Mount

USE LOCTITE!!! USE LOCTITE!!!

I bought a set of these floorboards because they match the other pedals that were already on the bike. I put them on Friday night (5-17) and re-tightened them on Saturday morning (5-19) because after my gf stepped off and on a few times it worked loose. Saturday night when I came home from a 25 mile ride I saw that one of them was MISSING. I was going to add Loctite after my girlfriend tried them at several angles/positions so I would know where she liked them. I never got that chance. Because after being installed and re-tightened the thing managed to work loose and FALL OFF! So now I have to put the old ones back on or order another set. Either way I am out over 100 bucks. Do I recommend them? Yes. I also recommend you use a LOT of Loctite and add a lockwasher. Is it a good value? Its only a good value IF they stay on the bike. Is it good quality? Yep. Heavy, stylish, looks great. The one thats managed to hang on looks great. I say to the manufacturer, add a lockwasher to these and change them to a fine thread. If they were a fine thread it wouldn't have worked loose and fell off so easily.

These look and work great. If you own a Harley you already know you need these with the nut made on top for easy removal at oil change time. If you are new to Harley, trust me, you need these with the nut on top at oil change time.

Great seat but didnt fit me well. Others may love it.

It may work great for some but it wasn't so great on my 2008 Fatboy. The seat should be cut back some thereby letting the rider sit down IN the seat. Mustang seats are great quality. I wish it was made a little differently.
