LIFELONG MILLER MUSIC FAN COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN!
1 of 1 found this helpful Since "all" the government documents have been released Mr. Spragg has done a lot of work. He writes this excellent review to "connect the dots" . Unless new information comes from a source like Don Haynes diary no more information is expected. The writing is done in such a way that the reader feels like being there over 70 years ago. For the fans of Glenn Miller and his music it is an excellent summary. As stated in the book unless someone spends a lot of time and money to try and find what pieces might be left of the plane's engine all the hard evidence is a very long shot at best and not likely.
Because the music Glenn Miller and his Band played went a long way to providing fond memories of home to all the people fighting a global war it's hard to accept that just as the finish line was in view it was gone. Especially under the circumstances of GM's dedication to his country and his fans. Proof is in the viability of "the Miller sound" and the continued enjoyment of all those, young and old, to this day!
Well done Mr. Spragg! Well done Glenn Miller and thank you!

Clever and easy to use
