replace your tobacco
after by-pass surgery, my cardiologist insisted i stop using skoal or any tobacco product. he said the nicotine causes a person's blood vessels to contract, restricting blood flow; i never opened another can. so, i looked for a substitute and found smokey mountain herbal snuff. i used skoal mint, so i ordered the smokey mountain arctic mint. i found the flavor to be spot on. the texture was a bit different than the long cut skoal, but i've already gotten used to that and am quite satisfied with my new dip. i highly recommend smokey mountain snuff.

homemade skirts
over the years, i've made a good many skirts for my spinnerbaits and jigs, and this may be the best silicone skirt material i've used.

just what i was looking for
i wanted a light to use while night fishing, for tying on hooks, etc. i have clip-on lights that attach to the bill of a cap, but i don't always wear a cap. then i found these flexible l e d lights and they are just what i was looking for. i highly recommend.
