Sweet spot
This is my 4th GPD device:
1. First generation GPD Win
2. GPD Pocket 2
3. GPD MicroPC
4. This one - the GPD Win Max
The Win Max seems to hit the sweet spot for me. The 8-inch touch screen looks nice and has the right-sized fonts for me. The touchpad is very responsive. The keyboard is a good size for a mini PC. You don't have to thumb type. Also, unlike the Pocket 2, it doesn't seem to get as hot. Mine came with Windows 11. At some point I may install Ubuntu Mate.

Eprom Programmer and Eraser - works well!
Once you figure out the software, and play around a little with it connecting/disconnecting in Windows 10, the burner did work. I was able to burn some ROMs for my old Epson PX-4 laptops. The eraser also works, but you may need to erase twice on some eproms.
