Great, easy to use detector that gives you a lot of good info before you dig.
Great, easy to use detector. Super light and comfortable. I'm still learning and barely touched on its capabilities, but have already found a handful of coins with just a couple of hours use. Seems to be very accurate on telling me which targets are good or bad. I would highly recommend a pin pointer, too, as it really helps shorten the digging time. Yes, it is the high end of prices for these things, but I think I will have it for many years, so it was worth it to me. Came with very nice case and goodies. Very happy.

Rather worthless
With grommets at each end in the center, as soon as it is attached to the car, the entire top half above the grommets folded down over the bottom half within a few seconds of installation. So, not much covered and metal grommets are moving around on my car glass surface in the wind. I went in the house and returned 10 minutes later and it was nearly off the car. Gave it away already.

Hardware and fit issues. Not typical of LUND parts.
Lund products used to be the best. This one had rough, curly edges and hardware to attach it that simply would not work. I used my own fasteners. Also, it requires NOT using the hood support in the factory hole, so the bug guard is not really a total fit, since it will require cutting to allow the use of the hood support hole on the inside of the hood when raised. No directions were printed in English....A couple of other languages, but no English ones anywhere. Pictures did the trick, but the little rubber sleeves that are supposed to go into holes you drill in the hood lining will not hold anything and they compress to the point that they just fall out of the hole. There were extra plastic washers with no real diagram or words to say where they were to be installed, so I guessed. Lund is different than what I bought from them years ago and I likely won't buy another Lund product.
