Best Metal Preservative You Can Buy!!!
I've used RIG (Rust Inhibiting Grease) for the last 30 years. It was first marketed in 1935, and is mentioned in firearms and handloading guides. It applies and removes easily, a thin film will keep ANY metal corrosion-free. It became pretty difficult to come by a few years back, VERY happy that Birchwood Casey picked up the product line.
