Needs To Be Tweaked
2 of 2 found this helpful The kit went together fairly easily. The board quality was good (70mm x 45mm). The fuse clip spacing was too short for the clip style. You'll need to bend out the retainer on one end as the clip spacing is too short for the GMA fuse with the clips provided. On my kit the 12V zener was missing - but anyone who assembles this type of kit just might have one on hand. I'll be using a 1W glass unit. Count your kit bits when you receive your package. Looking at the circuit, it's best to make sure the zener is in place before applying power. It's also nice that they included a zerohm jumper rather than having you use a bit of wire. No screw or heatsink for the TO220 FET was included. The hole is about 3mm. The toroidal inductor provided was intended to stand on edge. I had to unwrap one wind and use heatshrink to insulate the wires before I could get it to lay flat. Nail polish was used to tack it to the board. Later on I'll be drilling the board through the middle of the inductor and using a plastic washer and screw to hold it in place (inductor height + board thickness is about 1cm). No traces run underneath it. R4 needs to be 2K for a 24V unit. NE555D max voltage is 18V (and HCC4049 is 20V) - so I'd continue to use the 12V zener (or maybe 15V) for the 24V unit.
I'll post an in-use review once I install my replacement zener.

Hard To Get 13"
These rims solved a serious problem with my older Kia. I had some bent rims and could not find replacements. Original was 13x5.0@35mm. These are 13x5.5@22mm. They worked just fine. I've gotten more stability from the wider rim. I had to use spacer plates to push them outward 6mm as they rubbed the front calipers. They now work fine.

Excellent product. Big and Beefy. Needs to fit pos/neg different post sizes, though. 3/8" bolt fits side-post rings.
Need to sell a positive and negative pair. Positive is a different post size than negative. Both of these were the same size.
Otherwise, they were robust and of good quality. They worked just as expected. Nice product.
Bigger than usual 3/8" studs fit ring connectors from side-post batteries.
