Good sound but dated engineering for the FM receiver.
6 of 6 found this helpful Although the sound quality (loudness, frequency response and such) is very good, this radio does not receive HD-FM (digital FM) signals. I get quite a bit of static and the radio's external FM antenna connector is propriotary, not the standard screw-on "F" connector. I thought a table radio in this price range should receive HD-FM. Additionally, the remote is required for every function except powering the radio on or off.
