Item was new, but there were (still are)...
Item was new, but there were (still are) manufacturing flaws that definitely make the unit "out of spec" as a new product. The two main issues were: the main control board was not attached at all and was simply floating around, and the rear point of attachment, where the screw would usually fit into the bracket that serves as the spacer between the top and bottom of the cage was mislocated, so I had to make minor, but not easy modifications to the unit to get it into working condition/form.
