Great value, better than you might expect.
1 of 1 found this helpful Robust little radio, a little fiddly to program from the keyboard. The use of USB style connectors on the charger is a bit misleading as they are not the same voltage, potentially quite confusing. I have a few similar radios as well as the usual Icoms, Yaesus and a pile of Motorolas. This radio complete costs half what my Yaesu battery costs.... As a radio engineer the Baofeng is very handy to monitor various radio schemes while I am working on them. The most recent arrived a few days ago and have already ordered another.

Good quality, good value
0 of 1 found this helpful Looks better than I had expected, the laser aiming is switchable as is the display backlight. Can display either degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. Has a "hold" function so you can read the displayed temperature after making the measurement. Uses two aaa cells which are supplied with it.
