Poor quality manufacturing spoils what could have been a good constructional project

The kit as supplied has many problems: 1/ The screws for the battery holders are too short. The screws supplied are M2 x 5mm, but they need to be at least 6mm long. 2/ The wiring diagram is incorrect. If followed as drawn, the motor runs back to front, and does not cut off at the clockwise limit. The connections to the motor need to be swapped. 3/ The holes in the hinged part of the box are too small, and need to be reamed out slightly, in order to fit on the fixed part of the box.
