Good..but not without a problem
Having purchased this as a second server power supply I set about modifying it to my requirements...which took all of about 5 minutes - link two edge contacts and connect them through a spst switch to a third, which provides an on/off switch, solder some thick cables onto the +12v output edge connectors and that's job done......except the power supply overheats....it needs some forced air circulation, even when not supplying current the internal temperature rises until the PSU shuts down. A small 40mm 12v fan screwed to the end grille was sufficient to keep the temperature under control. I suspect in their normal environment they fit in a rack which has its own forced ventilation so an internal flushing fan in the PSU was not considered necessary. Apart from the minor glitch...very good value for money.......

Good job it was at the right price.
However, without the motherboard drivers disk it was a nightmare obtaining the drivers because Asus require you to register the product before allowing access to the files on their site. The serial number I had on my board was, apparently, incorrect but as Asus do not give any guidance on the format of the serial number I was left fuming at their policy of requiring registration before access....no other manufacturer does this and it will be the last Asus product I buy.
Also there is only one x16 PCI slot and the two x1 PCI ver2 slots are obscured by the dual width video card I wanted to fit, these days of M.2 adapter cards for SSDs really demand at least a spare x4 ver 3 PCI slot
Technology moves on huh!
