Good value, but not perfect.
2 of 2 found this helpful Rather better than I was expecting. The castings, both iron and brass, are all very nice, the bell is sizeable, attractive and well finished, and everything works. The thread between the two halves of the rod, though, didn't work at all, and I quickly welded the pieces together instead (otherwise I would have had to return it). The nylon cord supplied is useless, as it is so stretchy. I simply bought 3 metres of brass picture-hanging wire (for 2 or 3 pounds), and the whole thing now works beautifully. I had to hang the bell off vertical, otherwise it only "dinged" a couple of times. Further, I had to file out the eyes of the guide castings to allow the rod to move freely.
All in all, this kit is good value for money, looks great, but requires some reasonable DIY skills to get the best from it.

Should have bought one years ago.
Quality product. Larger than the usual mini-pumps, but this works, and they don't.
