Fixed 1996 Ford Ranger Odometer/Trip meter @152K
The original worm gear (what was left of it) on the odometer/trip meter motor shaft literally crumbled in my fingers as I attempted to remove it. Once off, the new CC05-2 gear snugly pressed on. Both the odometer and trip meter are working again. DON'T mess with the speedometer needle as this isn't necessary and you won't have to calibrate it afterwards. Disconnect the electrical plug and find the two plastic tabs that hold the odometer motor in place and release those to turn the motor CW and remove it. Then press the new gear on leaving a small gap (1/16") between the motor and worm gear. This was an easy fix for a much needed source of information to accurately track your vehicle's maintenance history. Thanks!

Dewalt Miter Saw Clamps Function Perfectly In My Older Dewalt DW708 Miter Saw
1 of 1 found this helpful I have for years wanted clamps for my older DW708 miter saw but wasn't sure these would work correctly. I had gone so far as gathering materials to fabricate my own version of a quick release clamp using parts of the Harbor Freight quick-release C-clamps. Glad I didn't now.
For the price, buying these OEM clamps has worked out better for me. I'm just an at-home retired woodworker that for the few times I might need to clamp a project piece in the saw a quick-release style of clamp isn't really necessary. Just slide the clamp post in the holes provided by the saw, turn the clamps where needed and they are securely locked in place. If I had to nit-pik about anything on these clamps it would be the knobs are a little uncomfortable to grab/turn because of the sharp edges. So I may end up replacing those with my own wood version in the future.
Other than that...they're great!!!!

Great Kit For Husqvarna 123L Weedeater!
I was a little skeptical about ordering this kit but glad I did. My kit had a foot of the green 6617 fuel line and the slightly larger black fuel line. Good thing because the green fuel line is smaller in diameter and wouldn't seal in the gromment closest to the fuel tank fill cap on my Husqvarna 123L weedeater. Anyhow, it should be enough fuel line for a couple applications. Once installed it took several pulls to get started (expected) and was set extremely rich as evidenced by the large amount of blue smoke and smell of unburned fuel. Once the high and low side adjustments were made I was back in weedeater heaven. My weedeater was purchased in 2004.
