Good quality product, well featured
The video quality is good for this dash cam which is important if you end up having to use it after an incident. The sensor can handle high contrast and low light (as can the separately purchasable rear camera that can be connected to this main unit). It took a couple of attempts to get the wiFi to connect to my phone, but once that is done there is good control to set up the various features. The live view was handy to help position the cameras during installation.
I also hard wired the dash cam in so that I could make use of the parking mode features. I have not tried to use the thinkware cloud features.
The incident recording function is quite sensitive, even when I adjusted it to its lowest setting so, closing the car door or a bumpy road can trigger an incident to be recorded. So I will have to remember to delete these false incidents to stop the memory card getting too full. I would also have preferred it if Thinkware made it possible to use memory cards from other manufacturers without fear that they would not perform properly.
The voice that informs of what recording mode the camera is in and whether there have been incidents is a little bit annoying but is only activated when you start/stop the engine or an incident has been recorded. There are warnings for lane departure and cars stopping/starting in front of you. I thought I would get annoyed by these and switch them off but the sounds are discreet and not distracting (except the red light warning) so I leave most of these features on.
Overall I think this is a good quality and well featured product although a little expensive.

Accurate and well featured
This GPS is a very good unit which I use for bushwalking. It takes a few seconds to start up but is then fast at calculating a position. It stays locked onto a position very well. There is good functionality and the screen views can be customised to include the information that you want. The screen is easy to read and I don't find it to be too small. The controls make it easy to scroll around the map screen and zoom in and out so I manage well without a touch screen (which may be difficult to operate if it is raining). It is very useful to have Australia topo maps included as this provides extra functionality such as moving the cursor to a position on the map and navigating to it. It comes with the topo light maps which have less detailed elevation data, but sufficient for me. Connection to a computer allows me to transfer track logs from the GPS and send waypoints or routes to the device. It took a little effort to connect this to my phone via bluetooth, online instructions go through the steps in detail (it is more complicated than just discovering and pairing a device). Overall I am very happy with this product.

Good value, does the job
The tray is solid enough and has flexible arrangements for bolting it down via the base. I am using this in the tray of my ute rather than the engine bay so it is good for mounting onto a flat surface. I may have to adjust it slightly to be able to use it with the projecta battery box which doesn't quite sit flat in the tray at the moment.
