Great value!

This product is comparable with the mainstream bore snake.. the build quality is the same... the caliber number is stamped on the brass lead that drops through the bore. I bought these to try side-by-side with the branded item... I use the original first, and i treat those with solution to clean out my bore, then I run these clean new ones to finish the job. In the case of the shotgun snake, this item actually had TWO rows of copper brushes like the Viper branded product! This is a great way to a cleaner gun!

Great Piece! Hard to fit , but worth it

Great addition to my SKS... Great fitment, fit very snugly in the area where the recoil spring assembly nest up to the inside of the dust-cover. It will greatly reduce the metal-on-metal impact of the recoil spring on the bare metal of the rear section of the rifle. It also reduces audible rattle coming from the recoil spring assembly when moving the rifle side-to-side. I have tried similar products for my 1911 and have fond them to work wonderfully (when they are engineered correctly)! So far, so good - and you can't beat the price! (It helps to run a finger with oil / lube along the inside of the dust-cover when installing this..)

Easy to work with!

The item arrived quickly in the original manufacturer's box. Despite not having any real instructions, it was a simple matter of removing four screws that hold the original parts on and just switching the old base-plate with the new. I was loading 12 gauge ammo in just minutes! Thanks for the great item and VALUE!
