The pods are not very high quality
2 of 3 found this helpful The vanilla pods are very dry. The aroma is present, but due to the dryness of the pods, it is also not very active. Defects: they are really dry, there is no oiliness in the pods, there is damage to the pods themselves. It can only be used for extraction from pods. I expected the pods to be of good quality, but, alas, I am disappointed. So far I have opened only one package - where are the most damaged pods, and used them to prepare vanilla extract on vodka, I still do not know what quality it will be, I need to wait 2 months.
To improve the quality and concentration of the extract, I had to use the entire package (10 pods) per 250 ml. Although usually for such a volume of vodka I use only 3-5 pods of good quality vanilla.
