well worth the money
this island really looks great when put together..i gathered the parts and there was not one part missing,which was a good start...only one thing though like many people stated, the cams are cheaply made.i got them to work, but working with cams on plenty of projects, i would take one of them to lowes or elsewhere and see if they have any cam locks which i know they do..also, bring along one of the cam lock screws also to make sure it fits the new one.i know it might be a pain to do it and the extra cost which is not much,but when you are pytting this island together and you can feel how snug the new cams are locking in,it is right there and then that you don't mind the extra cost or ride to the store..i put almost the whole island together by melf until it was time to lift the granite top and leaf and sit it on top of the island upside down and screw the two parts together..that granite top is heavy, so you know you have a really good quality piece of furniture there..just follow the directions on connecting them to the island..the drawers were simple to put together.the doors were simple assembly...ONE THING THOUGH..before you put the granite top on the island, it would be a good idea to put it in it.s final place and make sure it is level..with it level, the doors close nicely,etc..there are levelers on the bottom to adjust it .after that, you are done and can show your friends a very expensive looking island.PS.. a lot of venders sell this on line..i went thru them all and this seller not only beat all their prices, free shipping, but it arrived on time just like the seller promised.
