Will not play 3 connector SFC games even though it says it will play all SFC games.
I was trying to play the SFC version of Star Ocean and I was getting a headache on trying to figure out why the game was displaying vertical lines. I tested with other games like the SFC versions of Chrono Trigger and Tales of Phantasia and that's when I realized that the problem was not the cartridge but the My Arcade SFC to SNES adapter. You see, Star Ocean takes 3 connectors but the adapter takes the 3 connectors and deletes 2 of them so obvious problem in playing the game as it will be MISSING those connections. Chrono Trigger and Tales of Phantasia are unaffected since they use only 1 connector to play, which explains why they worked.
Moral of this story, don't buy it. You are better off tearing off the security tabs in your SNES than using this worthless adapter.
