Fun But Out-Dated
An easy way to look at this game is: Godzilla meets Mad Max. Originally created in 1987 as a spin-off for TSR's GAMMA WORLD rpg. This game is about as merciless and cut-throat as you're going to get. So much so, it's literally written into the game rules! This is less like a 'traditional' board game, and more of an old-school tabletop wargame. You play as the leader of 1 of 6 organizations, who are trying to rebuild the post-apocalyptic world in their own design. To this end, you employ the help of a giant monster/cyber-decked cyborg known as a Bioborg. Most games will last an hour or two, depending on how many players join in. Unfortunately, GAMMARAUDERS is severely out-dated as the game rules have not aged well at all. There are many times when the rules feel very clunky, and some of the more important aspects of the game feel a bit glazed over. But, once you get the feel of the game, you quickly see easy ways to streamline it.

Ahead of it's time.
A true definition of the word "classic". See cgi in movies in it's infancy. On my top-5 movies I never got tired of watching.

100% Nostalgia!
This was a walk down memory lane for me. I had the game once before, but I had lost it many years ago. Still as fun as I remember.
