New miller t94i welding helmet
2 of 2 found this helpful I have been welding for 30 years and this new miller t94i helmet is awesome. My old helmet was miller digital elite so that's what I will compare too.
Pros-
Better head gear goes lower back of head more stability when laying on side.
Wider helmet body more protection.
With new flip up digital display less neck strain.
More pereferial viewing side
Digital weld darkening settings is in .5 so 10 to 10.5 to11 and so on.
The new tightening knobs are smooth so will not get hung up
In tight quarters.
Cons-
When flipping up digital display hard to get hand in to change settings.
Must remove grinding shield to install cheater lense
And for cleaning
Needs stronger spring to hold up digital display the one that comes with it is good but could be better.
Could have put a design on it!!!!
Sum it up miller has bettered the digital elite series
And I feel that the flip up digital display will save on neck strain
