I mounted this on my turkey gun. I also purchased a mounting plate specifically made for my shotgun(Remington 1100). I did not use the picatinny mounting plate it comes with. I did this because I wanted the height as close to the barrel as possble. This set up lowers it by about a quarter inch. Works great. Exactly as described. Fast shipping.
