Excellent Product, Jaguar x type diesel had sticky turbo veins and occasional limp mode, added whole tin to full tank of nitro+ diesel and did a 350 mile round trip to yourkshire. Car runs soo much smoother and no limp mode since.

X Type EGR Intercooler Pipe

Good quality silicone pipe, arrived very quickly. One minor irritation is that i had to cut about 3/4 of an inch off to get it to fit properly, however this took all of 30 seconds. Fitted to car and all is well.

Jaguar 2008 X Type 2.0D Egr Blanking

After reading various forums about curing the excessive black smoke on acceleration, i though what the heck and decided to buy one of these, i went for the plate with the hole. To be thorough i removed the EGR valve, cleaned completely ( used carb cleaner and an old tootbrush ), and fitted the blanking plate. The whole process took around 2 hours and was not really that diffucult, but very messy. Make sure you have plenty of latex gloves ! Started the car and left running for about 10 minutes, then took her out for a drive. Immedate difference, much smoother power delivery but a bit of smoke for the first few miles, which pretty much went after a half hour drive using some high and low revs. Now 3 days later hardly any smoke at all, so no more pulling away gingerly to avoid the embarressment of big cloud of black sooty smoke. Definately recommend this product, and dont be afraid to get mucky and DIY
