Good money saver, but camera recognizes as a "fake"

The only thing keeping this product from being outstanding is the fact that Canon's firmware recognizes that the battery is not Canon original issue. It will allow you to use the battery once you accept responsibility by reading the "non-original product" warning but you do sacrifice a charge meter reading. When you run out of power, it just happens. Not terribly troublesome unless you are photographing fleeting moment opportunities. Remedy? Change battery after a while. That is the beauty of cheap power, carry spares.

Stout line

I purchased this in 13 weight for casting huge/ very heavy flies used when fishing for muskies, northern pike, and lake trout. It will turn over an 8" fly weighing over 1/4 ounce surprisingly well. My only complaint about the line is that is makes a high pitch sound when sliding through the guides but that very well could be because the rod has titanium guides instead of stainless guides like most rods. The noise is not nearly as loud as what Sharkskin fly line produces though. So far it seems to be a fairly tough line and handled 60 degree water without coiling, better than I expected for a saltwater line normally used in warm water. It also handled well on cool 50 degree days. I seldom have an opportunity to use something this heavy and bought it on clearance since I could not justify spending a lot on a line used only a few times per year. It will probably last forever as such.
