Great show for kids who love dinosaurs.
My very imaginative, dino-loving child LOVES this show because it's about a boy imagining a world full of dinosaurs. It's definitely kiddie fair and a little silly for adults. But the special effects are passably done and can work for children of probably 10 or 12 and younger. I bought it for Christmas, so he doesn't know I have a copy of it yet. But when he does, he'll be thrilled.

A must for Heroes Fans
For all of those who, like me, dig Hiro Nagasaki, this tear-jerker is a must-read. It's kind of like reading a novel-version of the events leading up to the Titanic sinking: you know the ship has to sink, but you want to see what the voyage was like, anyway. For anyone who has ever been the nerdy or backward kid, male or female, you will see yourself in Hiro's coming of age yarn (yes, you can still have a coming of age when you're an adult, especially when you have a dad like his). This book fills in all those missing moments between Hiro's meeting Charlie and her death at the hands (so-to-speak) of Sylar. You can also find out a lot of interesting tidbits about his relationship with his dad. A truly tender and sensitive romance that doesn't make Hiro any less the man we know and love. Highly recommended.

Review for "HAPPY WORD DAY"
1 of 1 found this helpful The book is large and filled with fun pictures, many of which feature peek-a-boo flaps that often show action. It would appear that this book series predates the tv series. The characterization and cast of characters is much the same, but don't expect the same art. It's not the same, is more primitive, but is still colorful and enthralling for a child. My boy doesn't seem to care about the difference between book and show. For a three-year-old or even older child who loves this tv series, this book is an awesome find. Word World is a great way to excite a passion for books and reading. Due to word world books and videos, my boy, who just turned three, is starting to read and spell. I highly recommend this and other books like it.
