3 years and many miles later....
1 of 1 found this helpful My needs have changed and I will be upgrading soon. This is my 3rd
digital - the first being an early Kodak ('97 - no flash!) then a
brick of an HP that ate batteries ('00), then this little guy in '04.
This has been a work horse - from events and parties to motorcycle trips
(mounted inside a fairing to shoot video) to upclose macro shots for eBay
auctions and beyond. This camera has never let me down. I'll be upgrading
to optical zoom and higher quality video capabilities. Even though it has
become a bit outdated, I'll probably keep it around as a spare. I wish
everything had as much bang for the buck as this did/does.
(3/2016) Still works... keeping it as a spare in a dri-bag in the boat.

Another Quality Canon Product
1 of 1 found this helpful Canon does well in their production of quality ink cartridges. In my experiences with them the only gripe I have with them is the warning for replacement comes on too soon and when it says it's totally empty it still good for many more pages. So, buy another genuine Canon replacement, click through the warnings, and keep it on the ready for when the ink actually runs out.
