Much better than ear style
1 of 1 found this helpful I have a highly rated ear model but got sick of the inconsistency. I would come out from the cold and my temp would read much lower (94-95 degrees) or I would take my temperature after wearing headphones and it would be higher (99 plus). This Vick's Comfort Zone is very easy to use, takes quick readings but most importantly is very consistent from reading to reading. In these trying times, I'm going to buy another one to keep at work.
