Great lap top for the price, yes you can get better faster machines but they will cost a lot more.
Excellent screen, fast and with plenty of storage. I purchased this for photographic processing. It handles very well, It runs both Lightroom and Photoshop. I have also used it with Dark Table and it handled that very well.
The HDMI output is excellent when combined with a UHD display and allows the photographs to be closly inspected. The screen is large enough for most editing purposes.

A great read before you go
This guide book should be read by anyone considering doing part (or even all0 of this section of the coast path. It would not be my choice as a companion guide but much useful information can be gleaned from between it's covers. Of course if you are a lightweight and sending your rucksack on by one of the many "Packhorse" type companys then by all means slip it in the pocket of the pack. Otherwisetake my advice, read it, possibly make some notes then leave it at home. get it out again in a year or so and relive some fond memories.
