Must own author/illustrator, Elisa Kleven
Elisa Kleven is a fabulous author/illustrator. Her text is usually geared perfectly to children. Her content enhances understanding of various life lessons. Example - friendship is an important theme. Her illustrations are imaginative, colorful, and thought provoking. They can also be used as “can you find…” opportunities. I’ve given most of her books to my 2 granddaughters. I have now bought about 10 of my favorites - again - just because I want to own them and reread them.
